Claus Gerken
Claus Gerken – 76, died Thursday at the home of his niece, Mrs. Adam J.
Hartner, 3339 Rust, after a lingering illness. He was born Dec. 17,
1867 in Bridgeport, and was a lifelong resident of Saginaw county.
He married Miss Anna F. Bull in Bridgeport, March 27, 1895. She died
Dec. 15, 1928. He leaves a brother, Christopher Henry Gerken of Bridgeport
township. The funeral will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the
Reitz funeral home. Rev. Hans F. Knauer will officiate, with burial
in Forest Lawn. He may be seen at the chapel after Friday noon. |
