Ernest G. Bank
Passed away at his home at 6:30 p.m. Saturday Feb. 15, 1975
after a short illness. Age 81 years. He was born Aug. 4, 1893 in
Germany and lived most of his life in Saginaw. He married Mollie Gerken
June 2, 1920 in Saginaw. She survives him. He belonged to Redeemer
Lutheran Church, the American Legion and was a veteran of the U.S. Army,
having served in World-War I. Mr. Bank was a retired service manager
and Chrysler dealer.
Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Walter
(Shirley) Graebner, St. Joseph, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Moser,
Canada, Mrs. John Beckert, Saginaw; one brother, Carl Bartok, Saginaw,
and two grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place at 1p.m. Tuesday at the
Reitz Funeral Home, 1026 E. Genessee. The Rev. Robert O. Bannon will officiate
with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends' may call from
7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until time
of service at the funeral home. Friends may leave memorials to Redeemer
Lutheran Church. |
