Aaron Teeple
Aaron Teeple, who died, August 20, at his home in Butman,
was nearly 70 years of age. He was an old pioneer of Grout township.
He was born in Westminster, Canada, and came to Gladwin county, Michigan,
in 1871. A few years thereafter he was married at Edenville to Miss
Fannie Weaver, who survives him. Two children, William and Alice,
the latter the wife of Abram Grahm, remain as a result of the union. He
had six brothers and four sisters, of whom three brothers, Benjamin, of
Grout, James of Pt. Huron, and Joseph, of Westminster, Canada, and one
sister, Mrs. R. F. Simmons, of Gladwin, survive him. The funeral
services were held at the Grout schoolhouse, Rev. J. S. DeLong, officiating. |
