Teeple, Edward W.,

Died at his father's residence, Oct. 5, 1874 Edward W. Teeple, in the 31st year of his age.  Bro. Teeple gave his heart to God early in life under the labors of Bros.  Bartram and Smith in the fall of 1850, and at once identified himself with the M.E. Church on the Ancaster Circuit, being a young man of promise and talent, he was appointed to the different offices in the Church, which he faithfully sustained.  He was acceptable as a local preacher, and by his labors won the hearts of many.  His illness was of long duration, which he bore with the greatest of fortitude, the grace of God sustaining him. His end was peace.
A large concourse of friends attended him to his burial, the usual services being conducted by the pastor of the Circuit.  Bro. Teeple is missed from among a large number of mourning friends.
