Mr. Teeple, age 71 years, died January 15, 1998 at his home.
He was born in Palms, MI on August 31, 1926, the son of Edmund and Alice
(Schmidt) Teeple. He was a member and Elder of Covenant Presbyterian
Church. He was a member of Joppa Lodge No. 315 F. &
A.M. and had served as Master of the former Bay City Lodge No.
129 F. & A.M. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies-Valley
of Bay City. Mr. Teeple was a life member and Past Patron of Sharon
Chapter No. 20 O.E.S. He is survived by his wife, the former
Delores Barker, whom he married January 30, 1959. He also leaves
a son, Randall Scott (Stacey) Teeple of Alger; a daughter, Kimberly Sue
Teeple of Elk Rapids; his mother, Alice Teeple of Grand Rapids; a brother,
Eugene Teeple of Croswell and 3 sisters: Betty Rogers of Harbor Beach,
Barbara Mancevich of Lake City, and Alice Rath of Grand Rapids. Funeral
and Committal Service will be Monday at 11 am at Penzien & Steele Funeral
Home. The Rev. Marjorie Longwood will officiate, burial will
be at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service will be
held Sunday at 7 pm followed by an Eastern Star Memorial Service.
Memorial tributes may be made to Heartland Hospice or Sharon Chapter No.
20 O.E.S. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm
