FALLS DEAD NEAR CARNIVAL GROUND
Heart Failure Fatal to Frederick F. Teeple, Former Saginaw Man
Frederick F. Teeple, formerly a resident of West Branch
and more recently living in Washington state, died suddenly Wednesday night
as he was preparing to return home with the family of his brother, Ezra
Teeple, after attending the Elks’ carnival on South Jefferson avenue.
He was 46 years old. Heart failure was given as the cause of his
death by Coroner J. Henri Riopelle.
He was born in Sanilac county and removed to West Branch
with his parents in 1892. He was a structural steel worker and had
practiced his trade in the state of Washington since his departure from
West Branch in 1895. His death was indirectly due to injuries received
when he was struck by a riveting hammer in 1918. He came to West
Branch Tuesday to visit relatives here.
He leaves seven brothers: Stephen and Gilbert Teeple of
Saginaw, John W. Teeple of Chicago, Walter and Ezra Teeple of West Branch,
Alfred Teeple of Sakatchewan and Edgar Teeple of Arizona, and three sisters.
Mrs. Nellie Turner, Mrs. Clarence Cox and Mrs. Gard Walker of West Branch. |
