Death of Manning Teeple
Manning Teeple, the amputation of whose leg was noted last week, died Tuesday at about noon, after having undergone further amputation, performed by Dr. Spencer of this place and Dr. Budge of Coleman.  Poisoning or gangrene had set into the limb after the first operation.
Mr. Teeple was 58 years of age, and one of the first residents of the county.  He was a native of Canada, and had lived a single man.  Although at times he had led a wreckless life, he was engergetic and industrious and had many friends.
Burial service took place from the residence of R. F. Simmons yesterday afternoon, and the remains were interred in the Grout cemetery.
