Willard Ransom Teeple
Gladwin Co. Pioneer Dies in California
The death of Willard Ransom Teeple is announced in a clipping
from a California paper which the Record received this week. Mr.
Teeple is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Bejamin Teeple, early pioneer residents
of Gladwin county, and was himself for many years a resident of Gladwin.
He was born May 22, 1855, at Grand Center, Michigan, and
at the age of 34 married Ida May Patton at Harrison. For the past
10 years he has lived at Ralto, Calif.
Surviving him are his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Charles
W. Parmenter, of Huntington Park and several grandchildren.
Services were held September 6 at Huntington Park, Rev.
Henry B. Wallin of the First Church of the Nazarene of Loas Angeles officiating,
assisted by Rev. D. C. Lamson of the Free Methodist church at Huntington
Park. |
